MCS annual inspection passed with flying colours

Combined solar PV and solar water heating system on an ecohouse in Brighouse, West YorkshireWe're happy to confirm that Leeds Solar passed our 3rd annual MCS inspection with NAPIT today with flying colours and no non-conformities.

This means that Leeds Solar continue to be MCS certified installers for Solar PV and Solar Water Heating as we have been since 2010.

To quote our MCS assessor

"Leeds Solar seem to be a good well run company who obviously know what you're doing, and this installation has been carried out to a high standard and there's nothing I can really fault with it."

Thanks to NAPIT for their professional approach to this assessment and their efforts to raise standards in the industry over the last few years. Thanks also to our now successfully finished ecohouse self build customer AKA Robin who kindly agreed to allow us to use her solar PV and water heating installations as our demonstrations for the audit (see Robin's eco house building blog for more details about her house build and her solar water heating and PV systems)

Leeds Solar intend to add Biomass and Heat Pumps to our list of MCS certified technologies in coming months prior to the full launch of the RHI to enable us to offer the full range of renewable heat technologies to compliment our core electricity generating solar PV work.
